OK, this kid needs to be kicked out of UCLA immediately, he is way too stupid to go there.

Chris Jeon is an idiot. Top notch, number 1 idiot.

Fellow Student – “Hey Chris, how are you doing? How was the summer?”

Chris Jeon – “Oh it was sweet. I went to Libya and fought with the rebels.”

Fellow Student – “You are a fucking idiot.”

UCLA student and math major, Chris Jeon, decided that he wanted to be an asshole this summer. So, not knowing any Arabic at all, and not having any real plan, he hopped on a plane to Egypt and hitch hiked his way into Libya to meet up with a group of rebel soldiers who were fighting Qaddafi loyalists.

Could these rebels understand him? No, not one word, but he somehow found a translator who helped him communicate with his new comrades. And what did they think of this college student from America wearing a throwback Lakers jersey and camo shorts? They thought it was hilarious and gave him an old Russian shotgun and an AK-47 to shoot into the air for fun.

Has Chris actually done any fighting? No, but he does say that he has been “helping”, and the rebels have given him a new name; Ahmed El Maghrabi Saidi Barga (Who knows what the hell that means, probably “Idiot American Who Shouldn’t Be Here).

Did I forget to mention that his parents don’t even know that he is there (Great job Mom and Dad) and that he has lost complete sense of time? Yeah this kid has no idea what he is doing.

Tip to future UCLA students, DO NOT JOIN REBEL FORCES DURING FOREIGN CIVIL WARS!!! Fucking idiot.

UPDATE: Jeon has been sent packing by the rebels. According to Gawker, Al Jazeera English‘s Evan Hill tweeted, “Our team in east #Libya said rebels fed up with Chris Jeon, US kid who tried to join, told him 2 go, last seen on pick-up going 2 Benghazi.”
