Barcelona kicked some serious Real Madrid ass today in The Clasico, 5-0. According to GolTV’s Ray Hudson it was because of some “Orgasmic Passing” by Barca’s tiny super star Lionel Messi. Real Madrid goalie Iker Casillas got all wet and sticky (It was raining and he was sweating). Video of Hudson’s call below.
CFL player Leron Mitchell snaps his leg in half during 2010 Grey Cup

Can you say ouch? Leron Mitchell of the Saskatchewan Roughriders brutally snapped his leg in half last night during the 2010 CFL Grey Cup. Oh, and the Montreal Alouettes won 21-18.

Man falls from Soldier Field upper deck and dies

What is it with all these people falling from the stands at sporting events? First a two year old dies at the Staples Center in LA, then a kid falls from the stands at Arizona State, and now a 23 year old man falls from the upper deck of Soldier Field and dies. Witnesses are saying that it was not an accident this time, and that the man ran and then jumped off a ledge and out of the stadium, falling 20 feet to a roof.
I’m sure now that every stadium and arena is going to overreact and start putting up 10 ft high Plexiglas around every ledge.

Kid falls from stands during Arizona State – UCLA game; doesn’t cry

A young boy fell from the stands at Sun Devil Stadium yesterday near the end of the Arizona State – UCLA game. According to an AP report the boy did not cry and appeared not to be harmed. Seems like a pretty bad ass kid. I wonder where his parents were?

Who’s ready for the Korean War part deux?

The North Koreans sent artillery shells crashing into the South Korean island of Yeonpyeong this morning. Two South Korean soldiers were killed and 70 houses are reported to be in fire. The North Koreans are saying that South Korea invaded their waters during military drills this morning. Hopefully this is the end of it. We really don’t need another Korean war. South Korea is threatening “enormous retaliation” if the North sends any more shells over.
